Duties & Responsibilities

• Read the source and the target material to identify any errors in: terminology, consistency, grammar and mistranslation.
• Make sure you collect and keep track of the errors you would like to report at the end of the project. It is important that you mark the following information:
  1. Error type: Mistranslation, Accuracy, Consistency, Country standards, Language, Style, Terminology.
  2. Severity: Minor, Major, Critical.
• If possible or if needed - please also provide screenshots and relevant links to back up your comments.
• You can also add comments if you wish to emphasis

Skills & Experience

• Ability to Stick to a Style Guide
• Excellent command of the Target language including grammar, spelling, and Punctuation.
• Minimum of 4-5 years exp in Revision

Education Requirements

• A recognized graduate qualification in translation from an institution of higher education.
• A recognized graduate qualification in any other field from an institution of higher education.
• 3-4 years of full-time professional experience in translating.
• Shall be expert/ specialists in Medical / Legal field with relevant qualifications or experience from an accredited institution of higher learning.

• Check translations of technical terms and related sources to be sure that the translated documents are accurate and consistent throughout translation.
• Refer to reference materials such as dictionaries, lexicons, encyclopedias, and other online & offline reference materials as needed to be sure that translation process is accurate.
• Run quality assurance spot checks.
• Identify and resolve conflicts related to the meanings of words and concepts.
• Read copy and transcripts and check to make sure there are no spelling, grammatical or typographical errors.
• Ensure that delivered service matches the company's quality standards
• Attend to client's feedbacks - if any- in the best professional manner.
